On July 24, the 2019 Intelligent Manufacturing and Energy-saving Industry Promotion and Sino-Japan Enterprises Docking Conference was held in Nanhai. As the largest negotiation meeting of Japanese manufacturing industry in Southern China, the conference has attracted 200 domestic and Japanese enterprises to participate, among which there were renowned enterprises such as Canon, Hitachi, Fanuc, etc.

It is reported that there were many newly settled projects, including Sino-Japan cooperation projects, Japanese-funded newly settled projects, and the cooperation project between Nanhai government and the Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank and so on.

Gu Yaohui, director of Nanhai District, expressed that intelligence and greening are an important development trend of the global manufacturing industry, and it is also the main direction of promoting the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in Nanhai. Nanhai has attached great importance to the promotion of investment with Japan. Japan has advanced technology and strong industrial strength in the field of intelligent manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, and it will find the best growing environment in Nanhai.     

Nanhai will start the third phase of the construction of Japan small and medium-sized enterprise park

At present, there are 110 Japanese-funded enterprises in Nanhai District, including Honda, Mitsui, Toray and so on, and their industry categories cover auto parts, household appliances, electronic information, new materials, equipment manufacturing and other fields.

Since 2004, Nanhai has held the investment meeting in Janpan for 15 consecutive years. Last year, Nanhai set up an investment promotion representative office in Tokyo. With a series of docking and exchange activities, Nanhai has deeply entered the “Friend Circle” of Japanese enterprises, becoming one of the most popular investment areas for Japanese enterprises.

In recent years, Nanhai has spared no effort to create a good business environment. In 2007, Nanhai has developed the first phase project of Japan small and medium-sized enterprise park.

It is known that the first and second phase of the small and medium-sized enterprise park has been completed, and a total of 23 enterprises with a total investment of 280 million US dollars have been introduced, of which 4 enterprises have become ten-million tax payers. At present, Nanhai is speeding up the construction of the third phase of the enterprise park, aiming at building a "Japan Science and Technology Park".
