Daliang Town was recently recognized by the China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association as "2018 China Industry-University-Research Cooperative Innovation Demonstration Town." This is a strong affirmation of Daliang Industry-University-Research collaborative innovation work.

In recent years, Daliang has been continuously deepening its cooperation with universities and scientific research institutes, broadening the information sharing channels on scientific and technological resources, human resources and major projects, promoting the settlement of university talents and scientific research teams, and accelerating the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.

So far, Daliang has carried out cooperation with key universities and research institutes such as Hunan University, Sichuan University, Foshan University and etc., attracting universities and research institutions and more than 30 enterprises in the area to carry out deep industry-university-research docking and cooperation. Daliang’s application to be a National Industry-University-Research Cooperative Innovation Demonstration Town and its successful identification will help to further deepen the development of innovation, promote the adjustment and optimization of the regions industrial structure and increase the economic development momentum.

In addition, Daliang also issued a series of scientific and technological supporting policies to boost the vigorous development of the scientific research level of enterprises in the area. At present, Daliang has successfully introduced more than 60 financial institutions in various types, established 17 industrial investment funds to support Daliangs industry and initiated the development of scientific and technological teams. According to statistics, Daliang now has 162 high-tech enterprises, 32 Guangdong Engineering and Technology Research Centers, 25 Foshan  Engineering and Technology Research Centers, 24 Shunde Engineering and Technology Research Centers and 7 Post-doctoral workstations.
