On March 28, Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Demonstration Park and the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International Cooperation Demonstration Zone will be launched. The Demonstration Park will build International Robot Intelligent City, National Community and Talent Town, and it will create International Robot Industry Ecological Circle, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Exhibition Center and Foshan Sino-Europe Urbanization Cooperation Demonstration Area, becoming a demonstration park integrated with  intelligent manufacturing innovation incubation, professional exhibition and intelligent community.

Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Demonstration Park is located in Shunde Beijiao and it covers an area of 666.7 hectares. It has five functional areas including Intelligent Manufacturing Core Start-up Park, Convention and Exhibition Core Area, International Community, Talent Town, Intelligent Manufacturing Expansion Area.

From the function set, Intelligent Manufacturing Core Start-up Park mainly introduces a series of intelligent manufacturing innovation projects like robot industry, and in the future it will create an industrial cluster valued at one hundred billion yuan; Convention and Exhibition Core Area consists of phase 1 and 2 and exhibition supporting zone of Guangdong (Tanzhou) Convention and Exhibition Center, which is a significant platform to dock "China manufacturing 2025" with "German Industry 4.0"; International Community mainly provides comprehensive residential and commercial services to create a "city-industry-culture" integrated intelligent community; Talent Town relies on the Foshan Metro Line 3, Shunde west section of Guangzhou Metro Line 7 to construct living area, supporting area and business area; Intelligent Manufacturing Expansion Area reserves project development space for introducing intelligent manufacturing industry projects.

Zhao Songshun, Director of Shunde Economy, Science, And Technology Bureau introduced, Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Demonstration Park will be driven by projects of world’s top robot and unmanned aerial vehicles, building an International Robot Intelligent City and helping Foshan build a National Manufacturing Innovation Center facing the world.
