Foshan citizens’ first access to Shunde He Garden

On Jan.1, citizens were watching Guangdong Opera in He Garden which is full of Lingnan feature.

On Jan.1, Shunde He Garden held a special activity themed First exploration of He Garden in early winter, which attracted about 5900 people from Pearl River Delta Area, Hong Kong and Macao participating in the activity. Warm sun in winter together with Lingnan garden have drawn a perfect full stop for the new year.

   

Shunde He Garden located near Beijiao Park and its total area is 41,749 square meters. Since its construction in October in 2014, Shunde He Garden is at the end of the project and it will be officially open to public on May.1 this year. Shunde He Garden will be a tourist scenic spot and a garden museum to display the art of Lingnan gardens and to inherit the excellent culture of Guangfu.

   

As a newly built traditional garden in the south China , Shunde He Garden is in the form of architecture landscape that follows the traditional Chinese pattern of northern mountain and southern water. Adopting Lingnan traditional gardening technique, Shunde He Garden has combined the design feature of four development stages of Lingnan gardens, including Ming and Qing Dynasties, end of Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and new China.

   

This is Shunde He Gardens first demonstration to the public of the achievements of phased construction. Huang Haokang, chief operating officer of Shunde He Garden introduced that the external walls of He Garden is basically completed and citizens can see the overall face of the garden.
