On June 28, Guangdong reported no new local confirmed COVID-19 cases and no new asymptomatic cases.

 

As of 24:00 on June 28, Guangdong reported 3 new imported cases, with 1 by Guangzhou (from Cambodia), 1 by Shenzhen (from Indonesia) and 1 by Zhaoqing (from Bahrain). Guangdong also reported 14 new imported asymptomatic cases, with 7 by Guangzhou (3 from Myanmar, the rest from Panama, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bangladesh and the UAE respectively), 2 by Foshan (from Cambodia and Saudi Arabia), 2 by Zhongshan (both from Gabon), 1 by Jiangmen (from Saudi Arabia) and 2 by Zhaoqing (both from Jordan). 7 patients were discharged on June 28.

 

By 24:00 on June 28, Guangdong has reported a total of 2736 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1170 imported cases. Currently there are 163 patients in hospital.
