Great news came that three parks in Foshan will be undergoing a massive renovation, namely, Wenhua Park, Asian Art Park, Nanhai Childrens Park.

When the projects get done, residents in Foshan can spend more quality time with their friends, children and families during their visits in these parks.

Nanhai Childrens Park

Foshan Nanhai Childrens Park, formerly named as Pingzhou Park, is well under construction for a brand-new look. Based on the original function areas, the park will offer a total of six sections - rest/leisure, game, parents-children experience, perceptive training, physical training and mining /exploration.

A "continent-themed" Leisure Area at the entrance

The leisure area is designed to reflect the distinctive geographical features in Pingzhou with a dense network of waterways. Pass through the entrance, and one will be surrounded by a glorious plaza where hundreds of "fishes" swim freely and breathe out a flow of colorful bubbles leading all the way to the service center.

A joyful ambiance created at the northeast part of the park represents a living experience in Nanhai District. Visually, fishes swim in group and travel through waves and reefs before they finally arrived at a beautiful sandbar. Therefore, the sandbar is deemed as the "land of joy".

A mini "water park" at shallow water area

As temperature rises up quickly in summer, a water-themed carnival seems inviting to people more than any time in the year. Residents in Foshan can just walk for a few minutes to get there instead of taking a long haul.

In between the existing mountain-like settings, the designer will update the area with a little more fun for adults- rainbow slides and pirate ships.

A childrens world at Rainbow Activity Center

The rainbow activity area consists of a "growth" park, "smart" park, and "adventure" park that cater to children at all age range.

Here, they can create their own special memories on swings, a castle slide, and a sand pool. With parents in their company, children can also have fun with tons of amusement facilities.

A skateboarding and roller-skating spot at Rainbow Sports Area

In celebration of an athletic spirit among children, the park will be built in with a basketball court, a skate park, and a balance bike park where they can tap into their possibilities in sports.

A close contact to nature and art at Wetland Science Promotion Area

The park is home to an area of wetland, nearby which a garden will be constructed. In here, citizens are allowed to observe aquatic animals and plants up close and read through science cards for different species in a way that forms a deepened knowledge of nature.

Wenhua Park

At Wenhua Park, tons of function areas have been tailored to visitors at all ages - a lawn of intimacy, a waterfront of youth, a land of childhood fun, and a park of extreme activities.

Plus, a trail along the water, amusement facilities, a tech-based interactive screen and a skatepark will also be included into the renovation project.

Asian Art Park

In order to ensure "blossom at all reasons, and scenery at every corner" at Asian Art Park, the management team plans to introduce more ornamental flowers, including wind forest trees, palace pink bauhinia, jacaranda, peach blossoms.

Through complementing of a massive coverage lotus, kapok, cypress in the park, visitors will have a more pleasant visual experience during their visits.
