During the morning rush hour yesterday (June 21st), an ostrich, about 1.7 meters high, unexpectedly appeared on a road in Foshan, sometimes taking a walk and sometimes jogging, which caught the eyes of all passersby.

As soon as the police heard the news that an ostrich was running lost on the bustling Foshan Avenue, they rushed there to contain the situation.

They tried to stop it but failed. At this time, a man claiming to be its owner came, so the policemen drove him to chase it away.

The ostrich stopped running and looked around once the man called out its name. It soon was put under control.

Reportedly, the man is indeed its owner. He has two ostriches and the one that has become internet-famous ran away from his farm that day.

Now, the owner agreed to give his two ostriches to Zhongshan Park. Citizens probably will have the chance to catch up on them again.
