Sanlongwan builds Industry 4.0 Learning Platform

In a special open class held in Robotation Academy Foshan on May 17th , Chinese and German experts from GIZ, SAP, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology(KIT), Darmstadt University of Technology, Tongji University, Shanghai Polytechnic University and other institutions shared cutting-edge information on Industry 4.0 and Continuing Training 4.0.
 
“It is necessary to boost further growth of enterprises in Foshan by virtue of digitalization.” Sun Huimin, chief digital transformation expert of SAP (China), delivered a keynote speech of "Digital Transformation Brings Forth High-quality Development of Enterprises". Other experts also communicated with Foshan’s enterprises and vocational schools online.
 
Sino-German 4.0 Learning Platform is a government-enterprise cooperation project set by BMZ. GIZ, commissioned by BMZ, takes charge of it together with Chinese and Germany partners. According to the project director Kong Qianqian, “so far, the project is implemented in three pilot cities, i.e., Shenyang, Suzhou and Foshan. And Foshan is the only pilot region in southeast China. We will further promote the project philosophy and experience to other cities in China and even to the globe.” Reportedly, the experts will stay in Foshan for three days. They will carry out an in-depth baseline survey in various ways, including seminars, open classes, field surveys and forums with government, so as to lay a solid foundation for the next stage of the project.
 
For the time to come, Management Committee of Sino-German Industrial Service Zone, relying on its advantage of sound cooperation with German enterprise, will jointly promote the project with GIZ. To help Foshan’s enterprises achieve maximum benefit in digital transformation with global perspective and abundant resources, the Committee will improve the professional capability of employees in Foshan’s manufacturing industry, and solve the problems of talent cultivation in the course of digital transformation.
