On December 19, 59 Shunde intangible cultural heritage projects at district-level or above will be showcased in the 2020 Shunde Intangible Cultural Heritage Theme Activity at the Wuxing Bridge Square in front of the memorial archway of Shunfengshan Park.
The activity will present Shunde intangible cultural heritage for Shunde citizens to share the achievements of intangible cultural heritage protection and enhance the understanding of intangible cultural heritage through intangible cultural heritage live exhibition and intangible cultural heritage artistic programs, so as to promote the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in Shunde District.
It is reported that the activity site will be divided into eight areas, where 11 intangible cultural heritage projects, including lion dance, Cantonese Opera, and Wing Chun will be presented through live performances. In addition, 13 traditional skill and folk custom projects such as Shunde Canton Embroidery and Gambiered Canton Silk dyeing and finishing technology will be displayed in the Static Exhibition Area.

During the activity, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Gourmet Area will provide more than 4,000 dishes of intangible cultural heritage gourmet. In addition, a number of intangible cultural heritage interactive experience activities will be held. For instance, in the Shunde Museum Workshop · Intangible Cultural Heritage Interactive Experience Area, citizens can make creative Mud-Brick Tower Incineration models and Spring Festival citrus paper clay potted plants, which can help them understand the beauty of intangible cultural heritage by making handicrafts, appreciating and experiencing.

It is worth mentioning that the theme intangible cultural heritage activity will set up a special Shunde intangible cultural heritage exhibition, where 59 announced intangible cultural heritage projects in Shunde District will be intensively exhibited via a 60-meter-long Instagram style exhibition. Besides, there will be a photography area, a 30-meter-long large-scale fish-shaped lanterns group, and theme models of 2020 Shunde Intangible Cultural Heritage Culture Project.
