On September 22, the signing ceremony of “Dieshui Town” Culture and Tourism Project was held in Guicheng, Nanhai. 

  

  

The planned land of the project covers about 2.67 square kilometers of Dienan and Diebei Communities with a total investment of 100 billion yuan. 

  

Gu Yaohui, Head of Nanhai District, said that culture is a significant power to promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas, while “Dieshui Town” is a new important project for the layout of Nanhai’s culture and tourism industry.

  

“Dieshui Town” Culture and Tourism Project, located in Diejiao Area, Guicheng, Nanhai District, and close to Qiandenghu Lake Financial High-tech Zone, has outstanding location advantages with intersecting transportation and water systems, profound cultural connotation, and rich tourism resources, as one of the representatives of Lingnan culture featured with local culture.

  

  

Dieshui Town will bring in a dominant IP system, a dual-stream stereoscopic structure, 3 featured thematic tours, and 9 landmark scenery experience by taking brand construction as its backbone and inheriting dragon boat, non-intangible cultural heritage and fair culture.

  

The cultural core area will inherit 3 major culture clues, including 6 kinds of experiences: food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment, building “Lingnan Featured Shop”, “Dragon Boat Drifting Shop”, “Shifan Teahouse” and other 6 new dual-stream shops.
