From September 5th to 6th, the second race of the “TCL Yi Jianlian Cup” 3×3 Basketball Competition was held in the Yi Camp Basketball Hall of Chancheng Sports Center, with 76 teams participating. Basketball enthusiasts from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhuhai and other cities enjoyed a passionate weekend in Foshan.

  

   

Since 2014, “Yi Jianlian Cup” 3×3 Basketball Competition has been successfully held for six times, which is open to domestic basketball enthusiasts. It aims to create better opportunities for amateur basketball enthusiasts to compete, improve, and show their competitive ability by providing professional competition platforms, and promote public sports and improve the physical health level of residents.

  

   

This year, “Yi Jianlian Cup” has been upgraded into one of the official guided competitions recognized by Chinese Basketball Association and set up sub-competition areas in Shenzhen, Foshan, Nanjing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Huizhou, Changsha, and Chengdu, which is expected to attract over 1,000 basketball teams to sign up with more than 10,000 participants.

  

   

Shi Ziwen, who won the champion of the Men’s Youth Section with his teammates, said that the opponents in Foshan are very capable. He expected to win the champion of Guangdong and attend the final competition held in Chengdu from December 5th to 6th.

  

   

According to the relevant incharge of the competition sponsor, during the normalized epidemic prevention and control period, the competition attached great importance to the arrangement and implementation of epidemic prevention, and ensured the health and safety of all athletes by restricting the competition scale, requiring the effective evidences for nucleic acid testing of all participants, and disinfecting the stadium repeatedly.
