"I came from India. Recently I came here to deal with some tax matters and I was very glad that four staffs helped me with enthusiasm, carefulness and responsibility. Many foreigners find it difficult to deal with tax matters because of language problems, but I finished the process quickly with their patient help." Recently, Dr. Neil from Foshan Chancheng Central Hospital delivered a special thank-you letter in the suggestion box in Kuiqi Road Tax Service Hall of Foshan (Chancheng) Tax Bureau.
At 4:30 pm on June 30th, Dr. Neil came to the tax service hall to complete individual income tax settlement anxiously. "Today is the last day and I don’t know how to operate on the APP." He explained in unskilled Chinese.
Dr. Neil is a foreign doctor with busy daily work in Chancheng Central Hospital. On June 30th, the last day for the first annual individual income tax settlement, Dr. Neil downloaded the individual income tax application and prepared to finish it online by himself. However, due to the problem of identity authentication, his several attempts on registration were failed and he had to rush to the tax service hall looking for help.
"Dont worry. We will help you finish the identity authentication first." Tax officers pacified Dr. Neil and patiently guide him on individual income tax settlement after understanding the situation. It turned out that foreigners must first finish the electronic identity authentication of Tax Bureau and complete personnel information verification before finishing the registration on individual income tax APP.
When dealing with the problem, tax officers found that the system failed to connect to Dr. Neils bank card, resulting in the failure of identity authentication. Staff of the specific zone of comprehensive individual income tax settlement immediately assisted to solve the problem. After several inspections, it was found that this was mainly caused by incorrect information registered by Dr. Neil in the bank. With the joint help of tax officers and the bank, Dr. Neil finally corrected his information, passed the identity authentication successfully, and finished his individual income tax settlement before the deadline.
"Thank you so much!" Dr. Neil repeated his thanks in Chinese and asked his friend to help write a thank-you letter, expressing his sincere thanks to staffs in the tax service hall.
