Yunyong Forest Farm was listed among the "Top Ten National Forest Farms in 2019"，which was unveiled recently.

The selection of “Top Ten National Forest Farms” is held annually by the China National Forest Farm Association to commend the forest farms with outstanding performance in forest management, forest protection and fire prevention, industrial development, facility construction, forestry science and technology, reform management, etc. during the promotion of ecological civilization construction and green development in the country. Recommended by competent departments and relevant experts at all levels, going through data review, preliminary publicity, voting and other procedures, Yunyong Forest Farm was finally listed among the "Top Ten Forest Farms in China".

As a green sample of Foshan, a manufacturing city that implements "industrial civilization + ecological civilization", Yunyong Forest Farm has been rated as the "100 Best Units of National State-owned Forest Farms", "China Forest Experience Base" and "Most Beautiful Forest Farm in China". Last year, Yunyong Forest Farm actively promoted the expansion and quality improvement project. The area of the forest farm was increased by about 2,470 acres, and the high-quality transformation from ecological forest to landscape forest was completed, and it has continuously strived to be the national forest park. At present, Yunyong Forest Farm, the urban “green lungs” with the largest area and the most complete forest ecosystem in Foshan, has an area of 4,960 acres and a forest coverage rate of 98.36%, of which 97% are provincial ecological public welfare forests, known as the Saihanba in the Pearl River Delta.

Yunyong Forest Farm is a microcosm of Foshans high-quality forest construction. In recent years, Foshan coordinates various ecological elements of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grass, and comprehensively promotes the construction of ecological civilization, trying to be the guardian of green mountains and water. As of May this year, the citys total number of natural ecological civilization construction projects reaches 335, of which 72 have been completed, and 171 have started, with an addition of 817 acres greenery.
