What is the biggest advantage of VR?

In Galanz’s online exhibition hall, more than 100 products are on display this year. Smart refrigerators, small home appliances, retro products and other home appliances developed for consumers’ life scenarios and preferences of different countries and regions around the world will appear in the online exhibition hall.

"One of the highlight this year is the VR technology presentation which brings the offline products to the Internet, overseas customers can feel the same as being there." Liang Huiqiang said.

As the main feature of VR technology, the real scene created by immersed experience can help shorten the sense of space-time distance between users and the real world.

In Liang Huiqiangs view, VR technology not only simply converts offline objects into virtual ones, but also allows people to have more space to match different display information.

How will chips and edge computing be integrated into home appliances?

In the exhibition, new technologies such as VR and 3D are used; and in terms of products, Galanz has also redefined the meaning of "technology" at this Canton Fair.

"What we want to present is the products around Galanz chips and edge computing." It is not surprising to have such a reply from Liang Huiqiang.

In addition to being the vice chairman of Galanz Group, Liang is currently the CEO of Guangdong Yuefang Technology Co., Ltd., and the leader of Galanz in chip technology development and application.

In the blueprint he made, the microwave oven is only the first step, and it will gradually extend to different product categories in the future, which eventually achieves full coverage.

As the first batch of Chinese manufacturing enterprises into the global market, Galanz participated in the Canton Fair for the first time in 1998 as an independent brand, having more than 30 years experience in foreign trade. For more than 20 years, not only has the production and sales volume of microwave ovens maintained number one in the world, but also it becomes one of the top ten exporters of refrigerators, kitchen appliances, etc., supplying approximately 50 million home appliances to all over the world each year.

For the trend of the Canton Fair, Liang Huiqiang, who led teams to participate in the Canton Fair for three consecutive years, has his own observation.

He believes that in the past ten years, the nature and significance of the Canton Fair has fundamentally changed. "In the past, the Canton Fair was one of the few opportunities to reach overseas partners, but now it is more of a platform to showcase the corporate image and future development trends than a simple selling platform."

In the eyes of Liang Huiqiang, facing new changes, as a manufacturing enterprise with a global layout, Galanz should adapt with a positive attitude as quickly as possible.
