Shunde cooking teaching increases locals’ income in Liangshan

In the past few days, the Chinese culinary master Kong Qingcong sent by Shunde Chef College went to Bingyidi Village, Rekejue Town, Jinyang County, Liangshan, Sichuan, 3100 meters above sea level, to teach cooking skills to catering operators and other local people in Jinyang Tourism Distribution Center, helping the development of the tourism catering industry, bringing wealth to local people.

In April 2019, in response to the lack of employment skills and low income problem of the Jinyang people, the Guangdong (Foshan) counterpart Liangshan Poverty Alleviation Cooperation Working Group in Jinyang County (hereinafter referred to as the "Jinyang Working Group") actively contacted the Shunde side, to invite Shunde Chef College to teach in Jinyang, selecting outstanding students to train at Shunde Chef College for the development of Jinyangs catering industry. More than 5 of the students have started their own businesses to develop the catering industry. 
   
This year, the Jinyang Working Group again invited Shunde Chef College to send in four famous chefs including Kong Qingcong to Jinyang to teach local catering operators and other people to develop dishes combining Liangshan ingredients and Shunde cooking skills, increase current restaurant traditional dishes, improve the management service level, to welcome the upcoming Jinyang Suoma Flower Festival, and flourish the local tourism and catering industry.
   
Taking the Yi Ethnic Minority folk-custom street as the core and the advantages of 100,000 acre Suoma Garden, Lion Mountain, Baicaopo, Tiankeng Group and Grand Canyon Loop entrance, Bingyidi Village, Rekejue Town, Jinyang County build the Jinyang Tourism Distribution Center, rapidly develop the tourism and catering service industry with high mountain characteristics, and drive villagers to start businesses and increase their income.
   
"The tourism distribution center square is under construction, and it is expected to complete and put into operation by the end of May." Jin Cebing, the team leader of the Jinyang Working Group, said that the Yi Ethnic Minority folk-custom street in the tourism distribution center has opened for business. Next, the working group will promote the establishment of a professional management company in the tourism distribution center, develop access standards for the catering industry, continue to introduce advanced catering skills and management of Shunde Chef College, and help the development of local tourism catering industry.
