2 new confirmed cases reported in Foshan on April 14

As of 24:00 on April 14, no new COVID-19 case imported from overseas has been confirmed in Guangdong. Guangdong has in total reported 189 imported cases.

2 new indigenous cases were added in Guangzhou (both are close contacts of imported patients and reported in medical institutes).

By 24:00 on April 14, Guangdong has reported a total of 1566 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1462 discharged patients. So far there has been a total of 8 deaths reported.

4 patients were discharged on April 14. Among the 96 patients in hospital (with 71 imported cases), 20 are in mild condition, 71 in normal condition, 4 in severe condition, and 1 in critical condition.

18 asymptomatic cases were reported, with 15 in Guangzhou (all are close contacts of imported cases), 2 in Foshan (both are close contacts of imported cases), and 1 in Zhongshan (from Xiantao, Hubei). All were found by local proactive screening.
