As of 24:00 on April 13, 6 new COVID-19 cases imported from overseas have been confirmed in Guangdong, with 4 in Guangzhou (2 from the US, 1 from the UK and Cambodia respectively), 2 in Shenzhen (from Cambodia and Brazil respectively). All were found by the arrival ports or isolation points and patients were isolated immediately after arrival. Guangdong has in total reported 189 imported cases.

3 new indigenous cases were confirmed in Guangzhou, with 2 in Guangzhou ( found in the isolation points and medical institutes) and 1 in Foshan (found in the medical institute).

By 24:00 on April 13, Guangdong has reported a total of 1564 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1458 discharged patients. So far there has been a total of 8 deaths reported.

    
4 patients were discharged on April 13. Among the 98 patients in hospital (with 73 imported cases), 20 are in mild condition, 73 in normal condition, 4 in severe condition, and 1 in critical condition.

28 asymptomatic cases were reported, with 26 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, and 1 in Foshan(all found by the arrival ports and local active screening).
