As of 24:00 on April 12, no new COVID-19 cases imported from overseas has been confirmed in Guangdong. Guangdong has in total reported 183 imported cases.

 

3 new indigenous cases were confirmed in Guangzhou, with 2 closely connected with imported cases and 1 imported from Hubei province. All were found by local screening.

 

By 24:00 on April 12, Guangdong has reported a total of 1555 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1454 discharged patients. So far there has been a total of 8 deaths reported.

 

11 patients were discharged on April 12. Among the 93 patients in hospital (with 71 imported cases), 19 are in mild condition, 70 in normal condition, 3 in severe condition, and 1 in critical condition.

 

31 asymptomatic cases were reported, with 29 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, and 1 in Foshan (all found by the arrival ports and local screening).
