As of 24:00 on April 7, 2 COVID-19 cases imported from overseas have been confirmed in Guangdong, 1 in Shenzhen (reported when entering Shenzhen via Guangdong ports from the US) and 1 in Foshan (imported from Nigeria and reported by community screening). A total of 175 imported cases were reported in Guangdong.

1 new COVID-19 case connected with imported cases was confirmed (during community screening in Guangzhou). 1 suspected case connected with imported cases was reported (in a Heyuan medical observation point).

By 24:00 on April 7, Guangdong has reported a total of 1536 confirmed COVID-19 infection cases, with 1411 discharged patients. So far there has been a total of 8 deaths reported.

 
10 patients were discharged on April 7. Among the 117 patients in hospital (103 imported from overseas), 26 are in mild condition, 86 in normal condition, 2 in severe condition, and 3 in critical condition.

5 asymptomatic cases were reported, 2 in Guangzhou, 2 in Dongguan and 1 in Shenzhen.
