As of 24:00 on March 15, 2020, Guangdong has reported a total of 1361 confirmed COVID-19 infection cases and a total of 1306 discharged patients. So far there has been a total of 8 deaths reported. On March 15, four new imported cases were reported in Guangdong with 2 in Shenzhen (1 from Switzerland and 1 from the Philippines), 1 from the Philippines in Guangzhou and 1 from Thailand in Foshan. 3 patients were discharged from hospital and 431 people are under medical observation.

Among the 47 confirmed patients in hospital, 3 are in mild condition, 29 are in normal condition, 3 are in severe condition, and 12 are in critical condition.
