As of 24:00 on February 12, 2020, Foshan has reported a total of 81 confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection cases. On February 12, 3 new cases were confirmed in Foshan (1 in Nanhai District, 2 in Shunde District) and 2 patients have been discharged from hospital. A total of 12 suspected cases were reported. 170 people are under medical observation. 

In terms of the district distribution of the confirmed cases, 8 cases are reported in Chancheng District, 33 cases in Nanhai District, 27 cases in Shunde District, and 13 cases in Sanshui District. There are 46 males and 35 females, aged between 12 to 75 years. 

By 24:00 on February 12, among the 64 confirmed patients in hospital, 15 are in light condition, 39 are in normal condition, 7 are in severe condition, and 3 are in critical condition. So far there have been a total of 17 patients discharged from hospital and no death report.
