As of 24:00 on February 9, 2020, Foshan has reported a total of 68 confirmed novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infection cases. On February 9, 3 new cases were confirmed in Foshan: 2 in Nanhai District and 1 in Shunde District . A total of 17 suspected cases were reported.

In terms of the district distribution of the confirmed cases, 8 cases were reported in Chancheng District, 29 cases in Nanhai District, 21 cases in Shunde District, and 10 cases in Sanshui District. There were 40 males and 28 females, aged between 14 to 75 years.

By 24:00 on February 9, among the 64 confirmed patients in hospital, 8 are in light condition, 46 are in normal condition, 7 are in critical condition, and 3 are in severe condition. No one has been discharged from hospital on February 9. So far there have been a total of 4 patients discharged from hospital and no death report.
