On the evening of December 23, the opening ceremony of the 11th Foshan (Chancheng) Lingnan Spring Festival Custom Carnival was held in Chancheng, Foshan.

The Linnan Style Custom Carnival was launched in parallel with the opening ceremony. It has set up several activities such as Creative Antithetical Couplet Experience Zone, Traveling in Chancheng Zone, Creative Spring Festival Custom Souvenir Zone and so on, which enable visitors to experience the uniqueness of Spring Festival customs in Lingnan by directly participating, engaging and having fun in the activities available at the scene.       

The 11th Foshan (Chancheng) Lingnan Spring Festival Custom Carnival consists of three major sections, covering activities such as Spring Festival Customs, Festival Celebrations, and Night Market Festival. There are 27 categories with 93 sub-categories. In nearly 2 months, the Carnival activities will be launched in every major resorts and shopping mall circles as well as cultural parks in Chancheng, aiming to bring about an enriching, creative and appealing cultural feast to the visitors.

Chancheng also launched 9 prime traveling routes and 9 themed activities along with enormous tourist concessions and 65 activities, which perfectly integrated folk customs, intangible cultural heritage, museums and gourmet, beautiful scenery. Through a range of entertainment and activities, visitors have access to going around the flower markets, crossing Tongji Bridge etc. Foshan has integrated tourism strategies with folk customs, activities information, concession and discounts and strived to create a peaceful and delightful traveling atmosphere for Spring Festival.
