The 4th China (Guangdong) International Internet Plus Exposition will be held in Foshan from October 24th to October 27th. Several British hi-tech companies such as ac&e、Nico Consultancy will form a British pavilion to promote the exchanges and cooperation between Britain and Foshan.

 

At present, Foshan is making every effort to build a national manufacturing innovation center for the whole world and vigorously introduce global innovation resources. As a world economic power, the UKs technological strength is leading the world. Nowadays, UK ranks the first class in the fields of medical health, artificial intelligence, environmental science and architectural design. Among the top 200 universities in the world, there are 32 ones in the UK.  Many technology companies have emerged in Britain, which profits from its advanced higher education.

 

Due to the optimistic cooperation prospect between the two parties, this Internet+ exposition attracted many well-known British companies such as CERNO SURE LTD, ac&e, Nico Consul tancy, Docobo and Grid Smarter Cities. At that time, they will showcase innovative explorations in the fields of face self-recognition, design simulation, intelligent building, health tracking, and smart city.

 

In the afternoon of October 24th, Foshan CCPIT will conduct a smart technology application and industry integration summit forum in the same period of the Internet+ exposition. At the summit forum, Foshan will invite top scholars from Britain to introduce world-leading cutting-edge technologies containing artificifial intelligence, block chain and so on, stimulating the development of Foshan’s smart industry.

 

Among them, Professor Fred Standford from University College London will give a keynote speech on "Artificial Intelligence Is Not the Solution"; CEO and initiator of Nico Group will bring the latest technology sharing of energy-efficient buildings; James Ramsbotham, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce in the Northeast of England, will also attend the forum to seek more cooperation.
