The 4th China Intelligent Urban International Expo 2018 held in Shenzhen released Chinese Urban Governance Intelligence Level Assessment Report on August 21. Foshan ranked 10th in 294 Chinese sub-provincial and prefecture-level cities and won the “2018 China Urban Governance Intelligence Comprehensive Award”.

It is worth mentioning that Foshan ranks only second to Xiamen with 20.6 points in intelligent management. Intelligent management mainly means realizing collaborative, clear and precise urban management through open resources, coordinated management, social credit system and urban big data management decision system construction, which forms a joint participation, open and clear urban governance pattern.

The shared service of Foshan ranks second to Hangzhou with 16.9 points in top ten. Shared service mainly refers to building intelligent administrative services and urban public service system through “Internet Plus Administration” pattern so as to provide efficient and convenient shared service.

In recent years, Foshan achieves important progress in infrastructure, management mechanism, application platform to promote information construction, winning many awards such as national “Internet Plus administrative service” demonstration city. The “One Stop, One Network” government service pattern reform was awarded the best case of national “innovative social governance” and promoted around Guangdong Province.

Last December, Foshan Digital Government Construction Management Bureau was unveiled, which symbolized a new journey of “Intelligent Foshan” and “Digital Government”. So far, the administrative big data bank has collected the statistics of 116 municipal and district institutions.
