Foshan signed 46 key projects of over 1 billion yuan in the first half year

According to the statistics released recently by Bureau of Commerce of Foshan City, from January to June this year, there are 46 key projects with an investment volume of over one billion yuan, which are planned to reach 135.578 billion yuan in total with a year-on-year growth of 18.05%. More than 20 industrial projects take up about 43% of the total volume.

This batch of key projects include Guangdong Cemt Hydrogen Energy Equipment Project (phase one), Guangdong Yangtze Automobile Whole Vehicle Production Project (phase one), Midea-KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Park Project (phase one), DJI Innovative Shunde Technology Research & Production Base, Monarch (Oceano) Smart Bathroom & Accessory Products Project, FAW-Volkswagen MEB Electromobile Whole Vehicle Project and MEB High-tension Battery Project, etc.

Since the beginning of this year, due to the “100-billion-yuan Output Value Project” put forward by Foshan government, Foshan has achieved great progress in attracting foreign business and investment. Leading by technology innovation, this project invests tens of billion yuan to bring a batch of big projects with strong industrial driving force so as to form 100-billion-yuan industrial clusters.
