Shunde New Energy Automobile Town released yesterday that it has signed important strategic agreement with American Goss Auto Group recently. Goss Auto Group will enter Innovation Center, Shunde New Energy Automobile Town for the first period. The second phase will place whole automobile production lines in Shunde, which will form a whole automobile production base with an annual output of 300,000 vehicles.

Shunde New Energy Automobile Town was launched in January this year, which is supported and led by Shunde District government and invested and run by Country Garden. It aims to build a new modern intelligent technological and industrial zone with a core of new energy automobiles. The innovation center locates in the Southern Intelligence Valley, Daliang, Shunde while the Intelligent Manufacturing Center locates in Chaoyang, Longjiang, Shunde. Shunde New Energy Automobile Town mainly develops automobile innovation industry. Surrounding two directions, new energy and intelligent network, it develops new-energy whole vehicles, core accessories, Internet of vehicles, unmanned driving and related industries such as cloud computing, big data, electronic information and artificial intelligence.

According to the cooperation agreement, Goss Auto Group will set up Goss Automobile Shunde Research Institute in Shunde New Energy Automobile Town during the first period, introducing foreign automobile R&D, and college research resources so as to lay a good foundation for whole vehicle production afterwards.

So far, Shunde New Energy Automobile Town has introduced some maker space, including Autospace, Chinese Automobile Innovation Industrial Incubator Alliance, etc. And it also reach cooperation with Shenzhen Chao Suan Science & Development Co Ltd, gradually forming an automobile eco-system integrated with maker incubation, innovation and research, demonstration and management. Next, based on the industrial basis of Foshan, Shunde New Energy Automobile Town will build an innovative eco-system of automobile industry in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
