Foshan Maritime Bureau welcomed a special group of guests yesterday. Forty maritime search and rescue workers from the Asean Five Countries came to Foshan to study. They were deeply impressed by the intelligent supervision of the ferry.
From July 3, the 40 maritime search and rescue personnel from Asean Five Countries including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, participate in the 22-day maritime and search and rescue training on the Lancang-Mekong river in China. In the morning of July 2, the maritime instructor introduced the general situation of Foshan maritime area to the maritime search and rescue personnel of 5 countries in detail, and introduced the experience and practice of Foshan supervision with the intelligent maritime supervision service platform.The crew also boarded the most advanced ferry in the inland river of Guangdong to investigate the safety supervision of water traffic at Haishou ferry crossing in the south China sea.
On the same day, the innovative "Smart + Site" supervision mode of Foshan Maritime Department aroused the interest of Asean maritime search and rescue personnel. The new mode of "Smart + Site" supervision has been widely used in the field supervision of Foshan ferry. Through the application of microwave transmission video monitoring system, Foshan maritime sector guides the ferry small signal emission of microwave transmission device installation and surveillance cameras, finally realizing real-time monitoring for the ferry navigation status and navigable status of ferry waters.
"Foshans integrated regulatory platform has positive implications for maritime search and rescue, navigation safety and shipping management."
