On September 27th, the 4th Awards Ceremony of Outstanding Hall of Fame of the International Masters Federation Union will be held in Foshan. During the period, a series of dragon lion dance competitions and the activities of China-Malaysia Business and Cultural Exchange will be conducted.
At that time, more than 1,000 people will gather in Foshan, the birthplace of the Southern Lions, for exchanges. Participators include members of southern lion teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macao, Foshan, etc and martial aces.
Chen Facheng, head of the International Masters Federation Union, said that the union is an international martial arts organization in Malaysia. The reason why the competition this year will be held in Foshan is that they intend to attract more outstanding Chinese from overseas to Foshan, and to better promote communications in various cultural fields by uniting martial arts figures from diverse sects home and abroad.
