On July 1st, the first shift of Jiangzhan High-speed Railway set out from Foshan West Railway Station, marking that Western Guangdong enters the age of high-speed railway officially. It only takes two hours from Foshan West Railway Station to Yangjiang, which is about 1 hour faster than driving. Besides, passengers only spends less than 4 hours in arriving at the west of Zhanjiang.
When it comes to the influence of the operation, Guo Mingyuan, deputy director of Tourism Administration of Foshan said that Foshan will strengthen communication and coordination with Western Guangdong, promoting Foshan’s tourism resources, lines and preferential policies.

Ye Hanbin, head of Tourism Association of Foshan believes that the tourism resources of Foshan, Yangjiang or even cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be spread at the rate of high-speed railway, which creates a new situation of win-win cooperation.
