Foshan West Railway is expected to dock Jiangmen, Yangjiang and Zhanjiang Station
From May 28th, Jiangzhan Railway enters trial operation stage. During the stage, the railway department will conduct a number of operational tests and Jiangmen-Zhanjiang Railway will stop at each station according to the normal operating standards, but it will not sell tickets or carry passengers.
Foshan West Railway Station
After the official opening operation of the Jiangmen-Zhanjiang Railway, the running time of the Multiple Units from Guangzhou to Zhanjiang will only take about 3 hours, saving more than 5 hours compared with the current common slow train. In addition, passengers can take Multiple Units trains from Zhanjiang, Maoming and Yangjiang to reach the Guangzhou South Railway Station, which brings an end to the history of no access to high-speed rail between three cities in Western Guangdong.
Attention is deserved that Shenzhen-Maoming Railway in the Maoming direction will be introduced into Guangzhou through Danzao-Foshan West Link. It means that after the completion of the project, Foshan West Railway Station is expected to achieve interconnection with passenger stations such as Jiangmen Station, Yangjiang Station, Maoming Station and Zhanjiang Station.
