It is the last day of the Qingming Festival. If you haven’t gone out for a holiday, some  nearby attractions  around Foshan to relax are good choice.

1、Lvdao Lake

Cycling is a must  when coming to Lvdao Lake.  As an important part of  regional greenway in Guangdong,  the Lvdao Lake greenway  is wide and flat, surrounded by the sounds of birds and wind, as if it could comfort and ease people’s tiredness and anxiety when riding around the lake,

With its grand view for shooting, Egret  Observatory is the ideal place that shutterbugs should not miss.

Covering an area of 200 thousand square meters, Lvdao Lake Wetland Park which is once named  demonstration base for ecology  science education of Foshan has lake water of more than thousand acres,  and a large area of wetland. There are 5 functional zones in the pake, including Water Management Popular Science Zone, Water Town Culture Zone, History Zone, Sports Recreation Zone.

bus：

1、take Bus NO.117， 133，144，163，183, or184， to the station of Lvdao Hu Administrative Service Center（绿岛湖行政服务中心站）

2、take Bus 117、133、155、163、183、184、K2、G13， to the station of Lvdao Hu Square.

2、 Tingyin Lake

In mid-to-end of March, 8.6 hectares of rape flowers by the Tingyin Lake in Xiqiao town, Nanhai district, are on standby for their blooming. The period of Tomb-sweeping Day is the best time to admire the rape flowers.

Place: near the west gate of Tingyin Lake in Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District (by the side of Qiaogao Road)

Flowering period: from late March to April
Transportation tips:
Bus: take Bus “Qiao 06” or “Qiao 17” and get off at the “Chen Qiyuan’s Residence” station, then walk to the west gate of Xiqiao Mountain on the other side of the road.
Self-driving: navigate to “Hengda Yuhuwan” (恒大御湖湾) by GPS, where is only 100 meters apart from the destination.
Parking: the parking lot of You Wei Pavilion located to the west of Tingyin Square is available.

3、Fengjian Village

Located in the north of Xingtan Town, Shunde District,  the famous waterside village—Fengjian  is an ancient village surrounded by water. A river winds its way through the village from north to south, then to the tributary of the Xijiang, dividing the village into several islands.

A boat trip is a better choice when traveling in Fengjian Village. When the weather is fine, taking a boat ship would make you experience a feeling of “slow life”, especially during the period of Qingming Festival.

It is worth mentioning that you should never miss Shunde delicacies, like home-made sesame, the double-layer milk, bean curd， steamed pork, and fish pancake .

Bus: from Xingtan Passenger Station Terminus, take bus No.383 directly to Fengjian.
