On October 24, the event "2025 BRICS IP Service Agencies Exchange Conference in Foshan" was held in Foshan's Chancheng District. Over 400 intellectual property experts, government representatives, corporate executives, and delegates from legal service agencies from BRICS countries, including China, Brazil, Russia, and South Africa, gathered for in-depth discussions on topics of intellectual property protection, cross-border dispute resolution, and international cooperation mechanisms. It aims to explore new paths and mechanisms for intellectual property to empower Chinese businesses to expand overseas.

The theme speeches of BRICS IP experts was a highlight of the event. Experts from China, Brazil, Russia, and South Africa shared insights on the updates of intellectual property in their respective countries, providing valuable practical advice to participating businesses. In the discussion session on "Needs and Experience in Responding to Cross-Border Intellectual Property Disputes," delegates from Foshan enterprises such as Hisense Home Appliances Group and New Pearl Group, joined professionals of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and the Mediation Center of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. They shared multi-faceted solutions for dispute prevention, negotiation and mediation, and arbitration response, which is interactive and informative.

As a core component of the series of events, the exchange conference was coordinated with seven events, including the "Roundtable Dialogue on Overseas Manufacturing Enterprises’Needs for Foreign Intellectual Property Services" and the "Cooperation and Exchange Meeting between BRICS IP Service Agencies and Greater Bay Area Law Firms," forming a comprehensive service matrix to precisely address the urgent needs of Foshan companies seeking to expand globally.

In the afternoon, the BRICS IP experts headed to Foshan’s Shunde District, and visited KUKA Robotics (Guangdong) Co.,Ltd.,a key enterprise at the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo.
