On March 4, the ground-breaking ceremony for Doingping City Platform, which is an essential part of Dongping Riverside Axis Improvement Project, was held by Chancheng government and Poly South China Industrial Co., Ltd. 

  

In the future, on the north bank of the Dongping River will stand another city landmark! As planned, the project will include a 240-meter five-star hotel connected by a greenery park across the road. Located at where Foshan’s medial axis intersects with Dongping riverside axis, the building serves as a multi-dimensional viewing platform. 

   

The project developer aims to construct a platform on Dongping Road, well combining the landmark with nearby fascinating waterfront landscape and the greenery park. 

   

Apart from a star hotel, according to the city platform project, 5 high-end apartment buildings (150-165m) and other commercial facilities will also be built – creating a multi-functional public space of landscaping, leisure, commerce, and sightseeing.  When completed, the landmark will be a signature spot on Dongping River Night Cruise, along with some other iconic complex such as nearby “two halls and one gallery” (a concert hall, an exhibition hall and an art gallery), Century Lotus Stadium and Foshan Cultural Center. 

   

In a long run, as said by Li Ming, deputy district mayor of Chancheng, this very project is beneficial to Chancheng in so many ways, such as local industrial upgrading, the city planning, people’s well-being and overall regional strengths. 

  

In order to ensure smooth and quality construction, the local government will complete project assistance mechanism and make prompt actions to coordinate and solve any possible challenges met along the way. Hopefully, the project will present a shiny image to Chancheng with first-rate quality and first-class brand.
