With the Chinese New Year drawing closer, parks, squares and main roads in Shishan town, Nanhai District, Foshan were finely decorated - vibrant peach blossoms, dazzling lighting sets and huge red lanterns, just to name a few. This year, you are welcomed to stay in Shishan for a festive holiday.

Downtown Shishan

The lawn next to government office was covered with vibrant peach blossom, covering an area of 1,280 square meters. It is a place of romance where one can spend some quality time with his/her loved ones.

It was put together with 30,000 peach blossom branches and advertising materials, which can be divided into three theme sets - “Corridor of Happiness”, “Pavilion of Luck” and “Tree of Blessing”.

The People’s Central Park was renewed by six lantern walls themed on the Year of Ox. If you are in pursuit of romance, fortune, health and more, come take a walk through the walls.

On top of that, a “Zhuanyun” (meaning a turn into good luck in Chinese) corridor, featuring thousands of colorful windmills with wishes of amazing luck and positive energy.

Boaihu Lake

Known as a landmark of Shishan, Boaihu Lake recently witnessed a gorgeous light show.

Here, people are living in a ‘fairytale’ – a sea of shining lights compose words like "BOAI" and "LOVE", as dotted with starlight windmills, dreamy carriages and more. The overall lighting area reaches 6,600 square meters.

Parks and Squares

Parks and squares in Shishan are also decorated with varied lighting scenes – God of Wealth, Lucky Star Bull, Lotus Lantern… They have become the hotspots for Foshan citizens to take photos.
