Recently, the nomination of 2022 Most Beautiful New Public Cultural Space in Guangdong Province was out for public application. There are over 20 places selected. The Reading Space of Shunde Library at Shunde Fisherman's Wharf and the Nanhai Reading Station (Xiqiao · Guanxin Arcadia Reading Station) were nominated.

Reading Space of Shunde Library at Shunde Fisherman's Wharf 

The Reading Space of Shunde Library at Shunde Fisherman's Wharf adopts "Gallery+Bookstore" compound mode, which is currently the largest compound bookstore in Ronggui and also the member of the main library branches in Shunde .

With an area of 700 square meters, the bookstore is divided into two floors, consisting of the display area of world-famous paintings, reading area, stationery area, a gallery area, a painting area, a coffee area and other areas.

The gallery on the second floor exhibits the works of various artists. You can enjoy the artistic atmosphere.

Nanhai Reading Station (Xiqiao · Guanxin Arcadia Reading Station)

Located at the foot of Xiqiao Mountain in Nanhai, Guanxin Town Reading Station covers an area of 540 square meters and is themed by "Reading Station + Cultural Tourism". Currently, it has 25,000 books and 3,000 e-books.

The design incorporates Lingnan style elements.

The overall space is made of wood. The first floor includes areas for animation, reading and catering.

The cultural and creative area is themed on the image IP "Heart Lion" of Guanxin Town.

The second floor is a public reading area, with books provided by the Nanhai District Library. Readers can borrow books with their ID cards.

Outside the book bar is an observation balcony with an marvelous view of the Tingyin Lake.
